TubeStash does not collect, transmit, or sell personal information. We do not collect your browsing history, identity, saved videos, playlists, or other user-generated content.

In short: TubeStash has no backend servers and does not track you or send your TubeStash data to us.

02 Data Storage

Data created within TubeStash — including topics, playlists, saved video links, and settings — is stored locally on your device using browser storage technologies such as IndexedDB and chrome.storage.

This information is not uploaded to TubeStash servers and is not accessible to us.

03 Permissions

  • YouTube Host Permissions: Used to access YouTube pages and extract information such as video titles and URLs when you choose to save a video.
  • Storage: Used to save your playlists, topics, saved videos, and extension settings locally on your device.
  • Side Panel: Used to provide TubeStash's persistent interface for organizing and accessing your saved videos.

04 Third-Party Services

TubeStash interacts with YouTube pages to retrieve publicly available video information such as titles and URLs.

TubeStash does not access or collect your private YouTube account information, and it does not sell or share your TubeStash data with third parties.
